The 2 sides are so divided. There is an extreme difference in fundamental ideology on how we should live and govern ourselves. The fact that the split is so even proves how manufactured it is. Taking a country of 340 million people, however many registered voters, and getting a roughly 50-50 split every presidential election is statistically impossible. And it shows that no matter who wins, half of the country feels their voice isn't heard.

Most people I interact with are republican, and many of them are quite liberal in most aspects of life. None of them care about gay people, none of them mind social services, none of them mind protecting other nations, many of them don't care about abortion, and they are for the most part concerned with making a living, enjoying life, and hanging out with friends and families. It's really only the extreme liberal ideologies they dislike.

The democrats I know are unwilling to even consider any conservative ideas, like balancing the budget, focusing on our own country ahead of others, questioning how a women can just decide to be a man and force everyone else to account for their decision, and limiting the power of the government and social programs to get people to start providing for themselves. They are for the most part unhappy and less successful than they think they should be. So, it feels like they want to tear down society so they can ruin other people's success. And this "bad society" is the excuse for why they were not happy and successful themselves.

It would be great if we all could live in a mansion on the coast and hold hands around the globe singing kumbaya, but that is never going to happen. There are always going to be rich people and poor people. Always have been, always will be. In some communist instances there have been only poor people, maybe that is what they want. Everyone to be equally poor and unhappy. Being rich is not a bad thing. It should be a reasonable goal for everyone. All the upper level democrats live in gated communities and partake in all of the elitism and corruption they accuse republicans of. Why are they the ones saying we should be living equal?

This country needs law and order, and innovation. Those are the best things we and capitalism have to offer. People from other countries risk their lives to travel here and sleep on our streets because it is safe and they can make a living for themselves with some hard work. They can't do that anywhere else.

The democratic socialism idea is fine, and northern europe has created a great quality of life for their citizens. But they can only do this because of the protection and economic mobility supplied by the USA. Businesses are motivated to innovate and expand because they can expand to the American market. Their intellectual property is protected because international laws are backed up by the USA. Their countries are also very small and culturally homogenous. They all relatively want the same things. It is foolish to think that could work globally, and it's not our job to enforce it.

The democrats in our country want to tear down the fabric of America and become communist. Yes, corruption is a terrible problem in capitalism, and some of these corporations have gotten too large and can affect the government. But why havent any democrats done anything to stop this? Why does nancy pelosi own several mansions around the country and a vineyard in napa? Why do they clintons have such a stronghold on the democratic party despite an inexplicable net worth and ties to epstein? The democrat should be the party fighting aggressive capitalism, but it seems they have just been bought and are trying to turn everyone in communist peasants.

The democratic party has failed our country and their remaining followers are losers and people that want to act smart.
