I don’t know how many people are aware of this and I’d like to try to find out because it really clouds the argument against ivermectin use.
This isn’t just about Covid or river blindness or parasitic worms.

Unfortunately it’s generic so they can’t make money off of it so it’s not allowed to be used.

I've been eating tide pods and I've never felt better

Many are aware of its effects. It’s been studied and continues to be studied. It’s even being used in many ways.

Yes, but we are talking about oral medication.

My oncologist doesn’t believe that there’s enough evidence that it’s helpful.

So if he prescribed it to you, and it helped matters, would he believe it then?

If he chooses to prescribe it to me I’ll take it.

My mom tried it when her cancer got bad. It didn’t help at all.

My condolences for your loss, but the above is telling.
Iirc, the NIH did stand alone Covid trials with people on their death bed before proclaiming that it was ineffective.
It may not work at all, but given how safe that it is, why would a doctor leave it out of the treatment regimen?

Are you willing to ask him to consider prescribing it?
There may be a down side, depending upon the type of cancer (or it’s location), but if not, I don’t get not including it.

How did you come to this conclusion? Particularly the location part.

Placebos have an affect.
Why don’t they prescribe a placebo to everyone?

As I understand it, Ivermectin can increase liver enzymes. If you have liver cancer, it may (as in Im not certain, as I’m not a doctor) impact liver function.

If that placebo is a cheap, well studied drug that has been around for many decades, and is alleged to have some positive results, then why don’t they indeed?

Placebo is in fact a cheap well studied drug with zero side effects and positive results.

the doctors that ive listened to havent mentioned it as a cure, but moreso a prophylactic. the school of thought is that alot of terminal illnesses like cancer can be a result of parasitic overload that essentially bogs down your immune system and makes you more at risk.
