My kid,18-year-old Senior on the high school team hit his second hole in 1 on Wednesday at the local high school tournament in Shreveport, Dad Bragg, he won the tournament with a score of -2. He's only been playing since the summer between his freshman and sophomore year. He hit his first one after only playing 3 months.

I've been playing for 40 years and haven't hit one yet, hit the flagpole, that's as close as I've gotten. Some people are just lucky, I guess. How many have you guys made and have you ever seen someone hit one in person.

I've been playing for almost 30 years, bounced between a 2-5 handicap the last 15 or so...

Zero aces. Was in the group with a guy who topped a 3 wood, had it roll through a bunker, onto the green and in.

I'm convinced I'll never get one.

I’ve been playing for almost 50 years, no aces. First year I learned, I dropped one down the flag stick, rattled at the bottom and sat on the lip.
I do have a hole-in-par. First one in the water the next, slam dunk par.
GOLF. Gotta love it.

Been playing about 30 years. Was a mid single digit handicap in my 20s. My number is zero. Been close a couple times and have holed three long shots from the fairway on par 4s but never a hole in one. I've witnessed 2, both from horrendous golfers. Pretty annoying tbh

I have one. Got it after playing only a month. I've come close a few times since then, but no luck.

Zero. Have two fake ones at par 3 courses (no holes over 100 yards) I don’t count.

Hit pin twice; lipped out two other times.

One day maybe

Zero. I've had a dozen close calls, less than 12 inches in the last couple years

Been playing for 30 years this year. Current handicap is 4.9. I’ve had 0 aces as well.

Closest I’ve come was actually on a driveable par 4 (16 at Copper Mill) when I hit it to literally a ball diameter from the edge of the cup.

I’ve witnessed 3 (2 by the same person).

My regular group has a standing agreement that whoever makes an ace treats the others present to a meal at Ruth’s Chris. I can’t wait to buy steaks for 4 people.

Playing since 1991 and made my first in 2019... so 28 years to pay dirt. Unfortunately it was an uphill hole on a course we only played once before, we saw the ball disappear but weren't sure that it went in.

My best shot ever I holed a 5 iron from 205 for a double eagle. This was in 2005 the Saturday before Katrina.

My handicap was as low as 3 and now sits at a 6.

Lucky enough to have 2 aces in well over 20 years of playing. Shocking (but true) I have 13 witnessed lip outs. With most of the folks I play with, kind of thankful they didn’t go in. Saved me a lot of $ on bar tabs!!!

Nine. Last one was 16 years ago the day before my oldest daughter’s wedding.

4 at Twin Pines CC near Russellville (PW)
3 at Arrowhead CC in Tuscumbia (5i,7i,SW)
1 at Haleyville CC in Haleyville (6i)
1 at The Capstone near Tuscaloosa (4i)

I’ve been playing over 50 years now. I get close a few times a year now, but haven’t had another go down.

A lady got two in one round at our last tournament at my club. I've never played with her, but evidently she isn't a great golfer. But she killed it in the stableford that day!

I assume this doesn’t include putt putt. One real one, and it wasn’t even a very good shot. Pulled it a bit, but it hit the slope of a bunker, got a ridiculous kick and it rolled in. So in other words lucky as shite.

Zero in twenty years of golf. I always assume I’m more likely to hit one in on a short par four than a par three. Seems like that’s how my game goes.

2 hole in ones.

1994: 160, 7 iron
2021: 142, 7 iron

Weird thing is the 2021 7 iron is longer and has less loft.

I bet I could not carry that old 7 iron 125 right now.
