I’m producing Mandalorian the movie right now, and I’m also producing Sean Levy’s movie, which is after that. So I’m continuing to stay at Lucasfilm and looking very thoughtfully with Bob and Alan as to who’s stepping in. So that is all underway, and we have every right to make that announcement when we want to make it.

Jesus man. Everyone celebrating that she’s gone and she has to make an announcement that she’s not gone. Simply to make everyone unhappy. Why do people enjoy doing these things? Why do you want to make something when everyone hates you for it?

this does not mean she isn't stepping down at Lucasfilm.
she can leave Lucasfilm and still not be retired and still be making movies.
We knew she wasn't out until her contract runs out at the end of the year, so I guess we'll find out then.
