Is there $41K worth of value in this storage auction?

9% buyers premium and 8.75% sales tax put this $35K bid at over $41K. I am not sure if they have to pay sales tax on the buyers premium but it would be higher if they do obviously.

Seems like someone is gambling on the guns in the unit just being overflow and both of the safes being full. Someone may have just like thousands on fire, though.

As a certified pallet jack operator I can tell you Crown is middle upper tier.

Is that right before becoming forklift certified?

On a normal career trajectory yes. However I struggled with the fork lift and was assigned other duties.

I can’t tell much by my phone but most of those look like basic cheap rifles, couple AR’s and maybe one or two New England firearm shotguns.

It would depend on what's found in the cabinets.

I don't know that value of all the guns, but there are a lot of them. If there are more in the cabinets. I guess.

But that seems like a high price and a lot of legwork to recoup that much.

There betta be $40k in gold in that safe to bid $41k. Even then they could all be junk and you broke even

Someone has inside info on the contents of the safes.

Yea it all looked cheap. It was at $7200 two days ago then yesterday I watched it shoot up and close at $35K. It stretched out like an extra 5 hours because two bidders kept bidding with 30 seconds left and adding 5 minutes at a time.

There are times that I genuinely find some of the comments on here unique and funny

this is not one of them

This was my thinking as well but two different people bidding against each other both knowing what's in the safe seems unlikely. One yea...but not two.

i think a lot of these purchases are more like gambling. You'll eventually hit on jackpots when you keep buying.

For the mower? Not even close.

But based on the presence of guns, a safe, uhaul dollies, spools of cable, rolls of plastic, etc. There's a good chance that unit belonged to a low level cartel member. The safe or the cabinet could be full of cash.

I count about 12 guns there and nothing else that stands out to me. Let's say all the other stuff is worth 10k, leaving the guns for the remaining 31k. That would have to mean each gun averages nearly $2600. I seriously doubt that's the case for some rifles leaning against a wall, not in a safe or case.
