Due to Trumps cuts voted for him? I'd guess lower than 20%.
I was having a conversation with someone about this topic and they seemed to think the exact opposite.
Thoughts?

Probably zero percent. Federal employees voting for Trump? Lol, lmao even.

I would guess 20-30% range tops. Its definitely a strong DNC slant. Any vote losses will be picked up by fiscal independents and libertarians who realize Trump is walking the talk that the Tea Party never did.

This was my reaction too. I say less than 20% being very generous.
Just the sheer number of D voters in DC made me look at him retarded, but be respectfully disagree.

There was a poster here who lost his federal IT contract job. He was a Trump voter, but said he is cool with it and is willing to sacrifice himself to cut down the size of the govt.
But, yes, about 90% (or more) of all federal workers vote Dem. It's even that way on the local level, too. I know several people who work for city governments and they are all Dems (even in red states).

I would guesstimate 80% of all government workers (local, county, state and federal) vote Dim.....that's a lot of Dim voters.

Any numbers to back that up? And I agree.

It's a hell of a lot more Trump voters than you guys think.
Y'all keep shitting on these gov workers. Show us how smart you are.
Unions give their money to Dems by a huge margin.
Contributions from individuals though are about 70% Dem, 30% Rep.
Fedsmith Oct 2024
FedSmith asked readers about their presidential preference in the upcoming election. With more than 2,500 responses, 52.8% of those responding preferred Donald Trump. 43.7% voted for Kamala Harris. 3.6% preferred “other” candidates.
63.8% of the survey respondents indicated they were current federal employees. 33.2% indicated they are retired federal employees. 1.3% identified as retired military. 0.3% identified as a federal contractor, and 0.2% said they worked for a federal employee union.
A smaller percentage of respondents (51.1%) indicated they thought Trump would win the election.
35.8% of respondents listed their political party as “Independent.” 21.1% identified as “Democrat” and 36.7% as “Republican”.
A survey of FedSmith readers in 2016 showed they preferred Trump over Clinton. An October 2020 FedSmith survey showed readers giving a slight advantage to Trump over Joe Biden.

85% of federal employees that donated to a Presidential candidate donated to Kamala Harris.
So way lower than 20% are Trump voters.

Federal employees are like 90 plus percent Dems so likely less than 10 percent. I’d venture even lower as the cuts have been to Dem filled places.

There's no telling, but likely not many. Remember, attempts which would have cleaned out a lot of employees have been blocked by judicial activism. Along with that, many of the numbers are shaky, coming from "anonymous sources" or laid out as "could effect up to".
AP's attempt at counting

Most of them are grifters and want the grift to continue, so the Democrat way.
