Well, assuming from the name 'White House Correspondends Assoc' I don't see how they have a purpose anymore. They will get fired. They won't have any money and might starve. It's so sad what Trump is doing to these poor, hard working journalists who just want to speak truth to power.

I don't love it, but the last administration:
- Press secretary openly bragged multiple times about working with social media to censor people (and there is a 90 page House report on this).
- Had IRS goons visit the home of one of the best journalists of the last 20 years on the very day that guy testified about weaponization of government.
- Tried to start a ministry of truth.
- Put the current director of national intelligence on a terror watch list for dissenting political opinions.
- Press secretary openly bragged multiple times about working with social media to censor people (and there is a 90 page House report on this).
