When the "press" spends all of its time asking the same made-for-TV scripted gotcha questions over and over again, that is what you get.

I hate most of the press, but this is nonsense. How could "who is the administrator of a federal office" be a 'gotcha' question? If it's been asked over and over again, who else asked it?

Was it really this hard to provide a straight answer that people have been asking for weeks?

You are stupid. They took one of obama's farces and made it into something that works. Now the "opposition" has nothing to do but whine.

Tell us YOUR alternative to get what DOGE is doing done.

I’m fully aware.

And this is exactly why I responded with what I did. Creating the entity was a good move. But it went no where under his presidency. You’re more than welcome to bring articles with factual information to prove me wrong……but somehow I doubt you will.

I was actually all for doing something to shakeup the healthcare industry. I applaud someone for actually trying. I can also condemn Obama for that causing the healthcare industry to see record breaking profits shortly after.

I realize you don’t possess the capability of deep, logical thought and can only process “him good/him bad”.

Thank you for proving me correct that my answer wouldn’t be the one you wanted.

That Obamacare plan was flawed from the beginning because it was only half measures.
It was an attempt to compromise, but it didn’t add up.

And if you would rather put the blame on Obama as opposed to the Private Insurance Providers for the issues at hand, then I can see that you don’t think critically.

The problems and the costs of healthcare were obvious well before Obamacare.

I seem to recall there was a push for this back in Trumps first term but the MSM was going bat guano at the thought of it and Trump1.0 stopped talking about it due to the optics. Obvi T2.0 learned his lesson and don't give a damn this time 'round.

Just to be clear, you now expect administrations to answer questions? KJP and Biden certainly never did. The best they could do was state bold faced lies about fema money definitely NOT going to illegals.

Whoops!

Enjoy the next 4 years, I am.

Just pretend the DOGE is a federal contractor….like the ones that had unfettered access to the NSA database on every American.

It employees of the IRS that audit people based on their politics.

Then you should be cool with it.

Can’t just have folks asking questions like who the DOGE Administrator is.

No, they just need to bring up anecdotes about crying, fired federal employees then ask "how does the President feel about that?"

Snark out of the way, I do see an issue with this. Trump's going to have some ringers in there, but he'll have some objective news outlets as well (he just won't have the Joy Reid's of the world). The problem is what happens when we have another Joe Biden or Barack Obama in? Obama actively spied on the press, Joe Biden had a press that gleefully covered for his onsetting dementia then faux pearl-clutched once it became impossible to keep hiding it. What happens when someone to the left of that gets into office and sets up their "Disinformation Governance Board" as their press corps?

You laugh, but explain what is false.

It was broken before Obama.

Obamacare didn’t solve it.

Trump and Biden didn’t solve it.

Still broken.

I’m all for clearing up and prosecuting fraud. But that’s not all of the issues.

I disagree with auditing Americans based on politics. Or firing Americans based on politics who do their jobs with integrity.

I’m not cool with broadbrush cutting the IRS workforce if we are serious about cutting fraud.

Just like with the FBI. People get assigned to projects and they do their jobs. That doesn’t mean they are partisan hacks. They were following orders.

If there are ideologues that need to go because they broke from their responsibilities, fine.

Federal employees must adhere to the constitution. Their boss is the ultimately the American people.

But is unfettered access good or bad, or only ok when DOGE has it?

She was already publicly associated as working in USDS but this is the first time anyone has ever suggested she was the Administrator. I wonder if it was news to her today when the press started calling.
