There is going to need to be some clarifications on this. The report in the other thread said that 50% of the revenue will go into a fund to be used on projects within Ukraine.

Be curious to see what Ukraine is getting out of this if it's not security guarantees

When you hold all the cards....you set the terms.......

EDIT: And their protection guarantee is that russia would be attacking our minerals if an attack happened in the future......

One thing is that all of their existing oil and gas projects are excluded from the deal and they keep 100% of the revenue from those.

From the report in the other thread:
quote:

It excludes mineral resources that already contribute to Ukrainian government coffers, meaning it would not cover the existing activities of Naftogaz or Ukrnafta, Ukraine’s largest gas and oil producers.

The fund that all of the money is going to is only for investment in Ukraine. Unlike the last draft where they just give us $500 Billion.

Seems like the Bi-polar fricker came out on top here.

We don't have any real idea the value or amount of "minerals" that this involves. I guess it's good to put Ukraine on the hook to reimburse the US for cash donations but what good is that if Russia absorbs Ukraine?

Very interested to see if this whole thing is blowhard bullshite or not.

Could that be the other 50% of the revenue?

Security Guarantees come after Zelensky commits to testify against Biden, Romney, Mitch, Miss Lindsey, Hillary, Blinken, Vindeman, and Nuland.

Possibly, I guess, but at a certain point Ukraine has no money left to invest in the development of those resources. Who foots the bill then?

Thats the whole point. Now we're going to be stuck defending Ukraine (and our mineral rights.)
