State playoffs? Also at risk of screaming at the clouds doesn’t that show the state of the game now when a kid fires up a 3 with the game tied and time remaining for the other team?

What about doing it with a bunch of time on the clock so your opponent can go win the game when you miss?

my son just finished his senior season and there are plenty of times that the coach is screaming "one shot" at the end of a quarter with about 20 left. so it's not lost entirely.
this is girl's ball mind you... but we play for a small division in TX for private schools (smaller than TAPPS.) Our girls made it to the state championship team. They are not world beaters (this is a 100 student high school,)by any means, but something like 20-6. They have lost to our main district rival for 4 straight years. 0-8. This year they lost by 7 or 8 both times, not 20 like usual.
They magically got to the the state championship against the same team and had a 4 point lead with about 2 minutes left. We were watching online and their coach was yelling "stop passing and drive in and score," or "take the 3." i visibly saw the point guard look at him and shake her head. I asked my other son's GF (that's on the team) about it and she said, "yeah we kinda just ignored him. He was mad but we won so i guess he'll get over it."
all that to say, sometimes stupidity is coached and and sometimes it's not.

Hinsdale is very nice. It’s one of the richest suburbs in Chicago, if not the richest.

the kid who missed the 3 at the top of the key then lazily guarded the winning shot at half court…rough 5 seconds for him
