That the election is proceeding as expected. Merz will be chancellor in a coalition with SPD, Greens, and FDP.

AfD will be left out as the opposition.

So we can expect that the exit polls will probably undercount the AFD support as some will not want to admit who they really voted for in a country that will jail you for a meme.

I bet the official results are even better for AFD.

The CDU will have to move to the right in order to build a coalition to continue ruining the country. Or further left to pick up greens and extra-commies. Either way, Germany is going to get it gooder and harder.

They aren’t forming a coalition with AfD. They’ll move to the center and left.
