Not the Covid stuff but regular flu. This season killing me. Parents on third week of wheezing and sneezing, I’m first week of headache fever, and my baby is sick too.

Wife tells me lots of people with flu at the hospital. Damn this season is rough.

Be mad at Covid, when Covid started to fall off, the flu made a remarkable comeback. For a while it was almost cured by Covid.

Did you get the flu vaccine?

I imagine your wife did if she works at the hospital

What about her boyfriend, did he?

The flu shot is nothing but a money grab . Most people will tell you that have never gotten the flu vax rarely get the flu . I have never had the flu vax and have never had the flu in my 44 years . I believe some vaccines may have their place but the flu and covid shots are a joke .

Wife, SIL and I had a nasty cold that hung on for 6 weeks. Was tested for flu and it wasn't flu. Damn thing would look like it finished and then come back with a vengeance.

I’m sick this week but swabbed negative for the flu. Not sure what I have but it hasn’t been awesome.

My wife had this as well. Would get better for a couple of weeks then it would come roaring back. This went on from right after Tgiving-end of January.

Had it the first time it circulated around Thanksgiving. Type A. About 2 days of fever and 2 weeks of lingering cough and sinus. Everyone in my house had it at the same time. Got it from our 3 year old who got it from daycare. 3 year old had the worst case of it. Baby had a mild case because she’s on that sweet booby milk.

None of us take the shot. None of us ran fever longer than 2 days.

For a while there were no other ailments other than covid. It was wild. It’s like all other infectious viruses ceased to exist.

The 2 year old started Monday. Wife stayed home with him then she came down with it. MIL came over on Wednesday then she came down with it. It’s a miracle that me and 4 year old are still standing.

It’s been a rough week.
