LSU may have only played 4 cupcake games, but there’s no denying this is the most stacked, depth wise this team has been under Coach Jay Johnson.

There will be guys that would be starters for other top 25 teams that won’t see the field in crunch time.

What a time to be a Tiger fan!

The first loss to a far inferior team is going to trigger a hilariously epic meltdown on here. I’ll just pop my popcorn, prop my feet up, and watch the melt on here.

While it's nice to see, it's also verrrrrry easy to see how many people started following baseball the paul skenes and dylan crews year

The teams we played suck arse

If we do this after the dallas week......then start getting excited

I’m with you Arthur. Regardless of competition you can at least see the pitching staff is one of the deepest I’ve seen at LSU. I also know they will lose some games and it will be ok.

4 games and already saying this lol. I get being excited about a team. The 2023 baseball team was very good in the beginning in the season. Then the bullpen was exposed and heading into postseason play, LSU needed the starting pitchers to go long innings.

Thankfully it worked out. Let's see how they do in SEC play. SEC is stacked with really good teams. I think a national seed is certainly attainable but pump the brakes until SEC play in a few weeks. That is where we will know how LSU really stacks up.

You could tell the 2019 football team was gonna be different than anything we had ever seen on the first drive against Georgia Southern. Crisp, sharp, fast.

Which ones? Give us some examples. I can only think of one and that was only marginally better.

I mean I'm excited too but the 2023 team may never be matched. Skenes is a once a lifetime. Crews is once a generation. Probably never gonna have 2 5th year guys close to Dugas and Beloso again. Jared Jones was on the bench for that entire postseason. Even that pitching staff would have been just as deep without the injuries to Taylor, Shores, and Edwards.

I thought the NC team was loaded, but is kinda unfair. We will see what happens in sec play.

I thought this was going to be a thread about the Blue Hens of Rhode Island. In case you haven’t heard, they run ruled (7 innings) William & Mary on Sunday 36-22. They had a 17 run 5th inning.

Two things

1)youll find less people at LSU that havent been watching for decades than any other school in America

2)its never too late to fall in love with college baseball. its the fricking best.

Stop it.

Pump the brakes. Why do ya'll people every year after a few games think we are the next coming of Jesus Christ
