Brian’s mom is a gigantic POS.

Didn’t pay an awful lot of attention to this when it was going on. Can’t believe the Moab cops put that tool up in a DV hotel the day he was slapping Gabby around.

The OT had a field day with this as it was going on. I want to watch and read the thread simultaneously just to laugh a little more. They really did have ol boy pinned from jump. Parents too. Its scary how good that place is at cracking stories like this.

This was my biggest takeaway. Holy shite those people are awful.

Also, very interesting how the family found his body 2 hours after they started looking.

Parents that won't admit their offspring is a POS is an epidemic.

You see it all the time, some gangbanger getting arrested for grievous murder and Mama crying, saying he's a good boy...no you raised a Psychopath.

Hope there’s a special place in hell for Brian’s parents, especially the mom. They deserve to be in prison for harboring a felon.

She claimed to be the aggressor that day and he confirmed it. It shows the disparity between how men and women are treated by the law. If she would’ve said he hit her first he would’ve been face down on the pavement.

There is an ever-increasing amount of parents who believe their children can never do wrong. When I was a child my parents always gave the adults in my life (such as teachers) the benefit of the doubt over me until proven otherwise. It has become more and more commonplace for parents to do the exact opposite and berate those adults who dare question the integrity of their children.

Watched it the other night as well. Sad stuff, seemed like a really sweet girl. Makes you wonder how many of those travel vlog couples are actually really like that behind the scenes. I’d imagine all that editing and re shooting shite would take a lot of the fun out of traveling. It seemed like he wanted to just travel for the fun of it and she wanted to make a job out of it. He seemed like a pretty awkward dude behind the camera

With all that being said it made me want to take a trip to that area. Looked beautiful

She needs to go to hell for that burn after reading note she gave him. That was disgusting.

Also found it interesting gabby contacted her ex. Don't remember hearing about that ink the news

I was surprised when they interviewed the ex and he said she had been contacting him. I have a feeling that Brian discovered it and that’s what sent him over the edge. He seemed like the type of person that wanted her all to himself as he was already struggling with sharing her with social media.

Brian seemed like a huge, pussy weirdo…mommy probably babied him his whole life “I’m crying in the bathroom” geez kid, why is this chick fricking you when you act like an emotional lesbian?

Also I would have said this all happened two years ago at most.. surprised it was 2021

OT has been good for a long time with shite like this. It’s an incredible place when it’s not infected with political bullshite from the idiots and trolls from PT.

Interesting watch. I didn’t really follow the story back when it happened. Here’s my unbiased opinions:

Through all the clips, Brian never showed bipolar or questionable behavior. Always held a light attitude even though I’m sure it was exhausting dealing with Gabby who was a social media addicted hound. From all the footage, I think it’s odd he never broke personality or character.

Gabby seemed like an emotional rollercoaster with drastic mood swings and possible mental issues. She was a very cute girl and sad her life ended tragically.

Hard to understand Brian’s parents actions or lack there of. I realized they lawyered up, but why was Brian never investigated or even brought in for questioning on the whereabouts? Even with a lawyer. That seemed very odd to me. Maybe someone can chime in on why the cops couldn’t bring in Brian for questioning at all.

Also weird the parents immediately found Brian’s body. All those resources wasted looking for days. The documentary made it sound like they weren’t allowed to look until the park reopened from flooding. Not sure why they couldn’t assist before as they seemed cooperative with his missing.

Overall, pretty sad loss of two young people. I guess we’ll never know what truly went down with Gabby’s death. Obviously Brian’s letter was a lie, but did an accident contribute, mere frustration boiling over, or some other outside party contribute? We’ll never know.

I wasn't aware of the contact she had with the ex boyfriend. If Brian found out about that, I can see him losing it. I would almost bet that is what led to her death.

Did either one of these kids ever go to college? Looks like neither one had any real direction in their lives. Did Brian ever work? The show mentioned that Gabby worked at Taco Bell in order to save up for the trip. It seems that the only thing he had going on in his life was Gabby.

I will say that the whole premise of travelling in close quarters with someone and having to continually shoot and reshoot videos in order to make everything look perfect seems absolutely terrible. Add on the endless amounts of editing and posting. It's enough to make someone go crazy. I truly think Brian was a piece of crap but I think Gabby wasn't a walk in the park at all times either.

Her contacting the ex is sad because it showed that she was thinking about getting out of the relationship. It just wasn't in time to save her. Also, I bet the ex is very upset that he missed her call on the day that she was killed.

This was just a really bad situation where two people were in a situation that brought out the worst in them and things got really bad. I am sure Gabby never thought the situation would escalate to him killing her.

What I didn’t understand was why he would have his parents hire an attorney, not talk to the police, and then just end up killing himself anyway. The documentary didn’t give a great timeline on Brian, but I googled and maybe once they found her remains he knew he was done?

His story was all over the place. He staged her body to make it look like she went to sleep or something and never woke up. But in his letter, he essentially said he killed her to put her out of her misery due to some injuries she sustained.

But he also drove her van all the way home to Florida after sending texts that said she was planning on doing the Van life thing as a single girl. If that was the case, why did he take the van?

I think he ultimately wanted to try to weasel his way out of everything, but once the body was found, he knew it was over.

What's crazy is that he could have left their phones in Utah and drove to Florida with her body. Then he could have picked somewhere along the way to dump/bury her body in a random place. He never would have been caught

We’ll never know but I think Gabbi was crazy and so was Brian. I think hers was more outward going by the Moab incident and his was inner demons. I bet on that day she went off on him in a crazy rage he he strangled her.

I am in no way defending the POS because crazy isn’t grounds to be killed.

Also, seeing the former boyfriend, that girl sure had a type.
