Has to be some massive pilot frick up, right? Either that or one of the landing gear collapsed.

Something happened to the landing gear? It was screwed as soon as it hit, I would have thought sliding would have been the problem.

Hard to tell what caused that... It's like the right landing gear just collapsed on landing. It didn't look like an exceptionally hard touchdown, just a simple equipment failure?

Those people are lucky to be alive, holy shite

Looks like:
All surfaces set correctly
Collapse of starboard landing gear
Ice

Looks like he didn't exactly flare and just flew into the runway collapsing the gear.

Looks like both.

Came in way to hot and the gear couldn't handle the force.

It has to be something on the right side. It didn’t look all that bad from that angle as far as both rear wheels hitting the tarmac. It didn’t look like a sudden cross wind from that angle either. I’m no expert, though!

Heard it was a hard landing, so the landing gear collapse is probably correct.

I'm surprised the aircraft was still somewhat intact after that violent scenario

Looks like a bad attitude for landing from the git-go

Imagine if people had started clapping as soon as the plane touched down.

I'm suddenly glad I don't have my usual flight for a work event in March...

Faulty gear or bad pilot. Will be interesting to see info on pilot.
