DOGE
To those whining about DOGE, where are your complaints about us getting fleeced by the swamp?
He who saves his Country does not violate any Law

Death by 1000 cuts has been the plan all along.

It's no big deal, ask any Kamala voter.

Eh, I’m very proDOGE but it’s got nothing to do with the name.

In fairness, these cases have not been investigated/audited. So I'm taking a cautious approach with these headlines.
That said, we all pretty much accept that there is waste and corruption. Anyone opposing government accountability is part of the problem.

Trump was convicted of a felony because someone in his corp coded an invoice to the wrong budget line item.
Who is going to get convicted for $4.7 trillion?
Who is going to get convicted for $4.7 trillion?

Same government that want to audit people for $600 in Venmo payments…

They should be thankful they are just getting fired. The jig is up, we all knew we were fleeced but this shite is ridiculous. The age of the social security beneficiaries they put out should be a national trial. Where are all of these millions of 110+ year olds hiding out?

Yep. They tried to nickel and dime the people for everything.

I think it's very likely trillions have been stolen from US taxpayers over the past 30 years but to believe trillions have been stolen in one fiscal year is hard to imagine. Since 2021 the US takes in nearly $5 trillion/annually in taxes, it would be hard to squander/steal a few trillion in one year when the government is taking in $5 trillion, not sure how anyone in Congress, the CBO or the OMB could say they were unaware that much money was being stolen.

Its not 4.7 trillion in one year
Last year this country took in 4.92 trillion in tax receipts - 20% more than Japan's GDP, which is the 3rd largest economy in the world. Bear in mind we also collect taxes at local and state levels which most countries dont. That adds trillions in revenue for government revenue (albeit not federal)
Somehow we still rack up trillions in deficit. How the frick is our federal deficit (local and state also rack up debt) bigger than the entire economy of countries like Italy?
Of all the things people can dislike Trump for, this is the one I cant comprehend. Taking the Milei approach to the bureaucracy is the best thing that could have happened

The post doesn't state it was limited to one fiscal year.

Yeah. It can’t be 1 year. There were little more than 150MM tax returns filed in 2022 (first released number I could find). So let’s round up to 160MM taxpayers. That’s over $29,000 per taxpayer/return.

I keep asking myself at what dollar figure amount do we declare this a national emergency?

I'm sure on day doge will show actual proof of their claims
Or once Musk has eradicated all the agencies investigating his illegal practices, will all these claims of fraud just fade away?
