Y’all remember when the NBA was going to dominate Pro Sports?

What a joke. And I know a lot of posters love the NBA, but y’all can admit that the projections were WAY WAY OFF.
Turns out a bunch of millennial Redditors and “NBA Twitter” wasn’t as solid of a foundation as was thought.

Draymont Green saying what we all know

I always thought this was a stupid projection, but in those people’s defense, they probably weren’t betting on the NBA product getting much worse.

China was a huge piece of the NBAs dominance and now that their influence has peaked the NBA is looking around to figure out what to do.
It's all stale to me and I don't have any interest anymore.

Yup. The days of me watching marquee NBA games are over until something changes. The door is wide open for other sports to take advantage of fans over 30.

The players don't care and neither do the fans. The apathy of everyone involved is impossible to ignore.

Fans are tired of paying ridiculous prices to go to games & there is almost a 50% chance the star players aren’t even going to play.

Spurs. I watch zero non-Spurs games these days.

1) NFL
2) MLB
3) NHL
4) NBA
I DESPISE soccer, but I may consider ranking them above the NBA too. That league is beyond boring and it starting to quickly die.

Premier league football should be #1 on the list. It’s the greatest league in the world

Literally no one I know watches NBA basketball regularly anymore
People have quit watching because it is such an outrageously awful product.
It was not this bad 20 and 30 years ago. Hell, it wasn’t this bad 10 years ago.
They claim they have an increase in viewership, but it’s 99% because of China and international fans. It’s become literally dead in the United States outside of the big cities.

I'm convinced that most of the fans of the Association are more interested in the soap opera side of the NBA (who's dissing whom, who knocked up which instathot, trade rumors, beefs of the week, etc) than they are of the game itself.
