The attempt on his life was to serve two purposes.
1. Get rid of Trump
2. Send a message of fear. You mess with us (Deep State), and we will kill you.
Once the second attempt was foiled, they knew they had to let it play out. I look for them to go after him again. The only thing stopping them is JD Vance would come in. They are scared of him.

I have said the same. Those interviews with the democrats after the assassination attempt were meant to appease the public and we were going to be told we must come together. Trump was not supposed to be alive.
