I can see why Loomis liked him so much. He does a very good job of dodging questions while talking without saying a lot. He did say that we need to build OL and DL, so that makes sense.

Yeah... how awful that he wants to compete...

Plus the NFC south has been shite lately. It’s not too crazy to think if you hit on some draft picks, and are running a better scheme with better coaches that it’s impossible to compete in the division, even while rebuilding.

Uh it had nothing to do with being nervous. It has everything to do with being a coach because this is what 90% of them do.

Diplomatic evasive answers. And to be fair things he could answer, he did (he will call the plays, etc). He’s been here a second. Give him some time.

I think it was somewhat telling how evasive he was about Carr as a starter though

Regardless, Moore is a breath of fresh air compared to DA.

I mean it's his first press conference and he's had 2 days on the job. I don't know what people expected him to say.

Yeah Carr sucks and we're going to do everything possible to get rid of him. We can't compete for a division title right now so don't expect that for at least another 3 years. We're going to run this exact offense even though I don't know what the roster is going to look like yet and this exact defense even though I haven't hired a defensive coordinator yet.

I mean of course he's going to have to give generic answers to most of the questions because he just freaking got here. He obviously doesn't know the answers to all the questions yet until he hires a staff, starts to evaluate the players, and starts to construct the roster and figure out who's going to be here and who won't.

He was extremely nervous. He could not stand still and was almost out of breath talking so fast. He will get used to it and calm down.
