No, we should not sign a qb not named andy dalton that is older than our coach.

Chad immediately casts his vote for Andy Dalton. I'm not disappointed.

I’d honestly be down. At least it would be somewhat exciting.

don't confuse the thought that i think dalton should be starting. dalton and kellen were together in dallas. dalton would be ideal say we went to a youth movement with Rattler, rookie or other young nfl guy and need a vet in the room.

also there's this: LINK

We didn't in the last 16 threads about Aaron Rodgers "Should we?" and we shouldn't now either.

Give him a 1-year on the vet minimum sure. But I doubt he’s settling for that

It hasn't and it's already been done.

The only way that would work is if we get an offensive line that makes Detroit look like a college line. But at that point Derek Carr or his brother would look like All world

I think he is done. Would not be surprised if he retired. Or if no one pursued him.
It could be a case where he joins a contender in the middle of next season if their starter went down.

TBob and Hester both think it should be Winston for next year.

They said the goal is to be as far up as possible in the draft so it’ll be fun to watch while we lose. Winston is the man for that.

Would he play for free?

If so, sure.

If not, where would the cap space magically appear from?

Winston is the most entertaining bad QB out there.

Seems silly to argue over possible temporary schleps.

If we trade Carr and get Rogers at the minimum, sure.

But Rodgers is only going to a team who can compete for a ring. And that aint us.
