Has this been the quietest black history month in recent memory?

Usually, all the streaming services have whole sections of "celebrating black history" but unless I haven't paid attention I don't see those sections prominently displayed.

Google, Yahoo, Facebook, etc are also quite with the propaganda.

Was USAID funding all of that too?

I haven't watched ESPN in at least 15 years outside of any LSU games or programs about LSU and I am not exaggerating.

I'm convinced now that almost all these "corporate" promotional efforts of all the months, days, and reflections of race and identity politics has been financed with government money. There is so much money flowing through USAID to go to bullshite some of it definitely went to incentivize private companies to do this.

Probably, but in a few months there'll be some "bombshell reports" that they were afraid to do anything relating to Black History Month because they feared Trump would throw them in jail, you know just in time to rile up black people before an election.

The government isn't allowed to celebrate it under the anti DEI executive orders. It's so much fun seeing how that trickles downhill.

Tbh I forgot they celebrated that this month.
What I'm REALLY looking forward to, is when pride month comes around. The tears and crying over that is going to be glorious!!

That whole indigenous persons day after Thanksgiving brings us more trouble than we want, over something nobody asked for.
No thanks, I'll pass.

Cooper DeJean ended black history month when he picked off Mahomes in the SuperBowl and returned it for a TD.

my local library had a bunch of black-focused books prominently displayed yet ignored, in the kids section. that's about all i've seen on ,the matter.

AI finally figuring out what you actually want to watch? Only think this because I actually did see a black history suggestion when I signed up for Paramount+ this morning. Hadn't seen it on Prime, Hulu or Disney all month
