He’s not playing back to backs.

This is the first game of a back to back

Yup, we play the Kings today and tomorrow, he will sit for one of them, they’re listing as questionable now to decide which one

I think it’s funny people keep acting shocked a tanking team is making tanking moves.

seriously. all the smooth brains complaining about the minutes restriction when Z is producing at career high efficiency and we are the 2nd worst team in the NBA with a realistic shot at flagg/harper/bailey. you guys really want a win against the kings that bad?

Lol we could go 29-0 and still end up at exactly .500. I hope we go 0-29.

Yeah. Keep Zion on his 28 minutes. No back to backs.

Let him have a great last few months of the year, stay healthy if he can, and roll that in to next year while still losing

That's the first honest injury report for Zion we've seen in 6 years.

And you don't see how this illustrates a serious problem with building around Husky?

Zion playing doesn't increase our odds of winning, but it does give him more regular exercise. The physical exertion is exactly why Zion needs to be playing, because he gains 7 pounds every time he misses a game.

that they are using what is already a lost year to experiment with how to best manage an ultra talented but historically physically challenged player? not really, no.

It's the right thing to do this year for sure. The problem is we did the same thing with him last year in not allowing him to play back to backs even when not injured. So to equate this only to tanking isn't exactly accurate.

exactly!!

we are 12-41... are y'all really expecting them to win a bunch of absolutely meaningless, as meaningless as it can possibly be at this point, games?

we have BEEN tanking, so why does any of this surprise anyone still?

You keep spewing your hate even when it is completely ignorant. He is probably in the best shape he has been in since joining the NBA and did not come back from an extended absence out of shape.

I’d be so fricking angry as a season ticket holder.

Or any ticket holder… charging premium prices and getting an absolutely arse product. Completely disingenuous.

Frankly I’ve suffered flying over to watch the Pels and Zion and BI were both injured. There’s a fricking surprise.

But Trey went off so there was that…

you can feel bad for the season ticket holders, but individual tickets to go to these games are like $1 to get into the door these days

It's funny how everyone is saying we're handling Zion like this only because we're tanking when we've basically handled Zion like this his entire career regardless of our record.
