Curious to know how people feel about Fuaga and Penning as a tandem. Also on the defensive side, what’s the consensus of Breese?

Fuaga is Legit. Penning, we should bring in some competition. Bresee is a very good 3 tech. We need a dominant nose to put along side him.

Seeing both the mammoth Oline and DLine for Philly made me extremely envious.

It’s about the only thing this team has going for it along with McCoy.

We could use another depth piece, but both should be even better next year. Absolute no reason to waste a high pick on a tackle with all the holes on this roster. We really need to draft a good LG. Penning was pancaking people in the run game, but needs to refine his pass protection.

Fuaga is a stud and Penning proved capable as a RT. His amazing progress allows the Saints to focus on other desperate positions without having to add another OT unless it's a depth piece.

I'm sure there 's no consensus on him, but he played very well and should have by now dispelled the injury concerns many had on him after being drafted. I'd like to see him paired with a behemoth NT that forces double teams and wrecks the running game and allowed Breese to do what he does best, getting after the QB.

Didn't we trade the Eagles the pick they used on Carter ?

If a good offensive tackle is available, that the team likes, in the first round, then take him.
Penning could move inside. And TF appears to have the versatility to play left or right tackle.

Penning should be your extra tackle. Kicking tires on him at guard is fine too

We have to make Penning work.

We don’t have the low cost salaries to replace him in free agency. Our cap situation requires another 2017 draft to be good again.

My fear is what happens when he progresses, do we pay him to keep him? Feel like at that point we have to

If he is available at #9, do you consider drafting Campbell, sticking him at LT, moving Fuaga to RT (what many said before the draft was his better sport), and moving Penning inside to guard?

If you gathered up all our oline and dlinemen on the team how many would be starters on most nfl teams?
I came up with two. And one is coming off a season ending injury.
McCoy and Fuaga.
That's all I see. And that is very thin to me.

This team needs a LG badly and a NY. Breese is a legit 3 tech and we have no respectable NT. Ideally this team grabs a passrusher, NT, and LG in the first 3 rounds and solidifies the trenches for the next few years.

I like Wyatt Milum as an OG in the 2nd round.

LG is one of this teams biggest needs.

Penning is three years in, you still get two more as I’m sure they exercise his option. Not sure how much more time and money you can invest in him. Even with his “improvement” he was still below average in pass game.

If you can find a tackle in the draft we can be flexible with penning

After QB its our biggest need.

Luckily this is one of the deepest DT drafts in many years

Yes and the 2nd we gave them on Cooper Dejean who I also really wanted.

Loomis helped build a Super Bowl winner.

What I was wondering. Does he have the skills to play consistently great at guard? Would love a upgrade at RT if possible in the draft. Is that a 1st, 2nd or 3rd?
