Tax payers deserve a refund due to the wasteful spending on shite like Iraqi Sesame Street, rampant kickbacks and fraud, etc.
We all deserve at bare minimum, 2 years full returns on our income taxes for this shite.
This has to be a movement we can all support.
Why aren't we hearing something like this as an option? The government just prints money as if it doesn't matter so give us some of that money back, WE EARNED it.

Let’s balance the budget first while restoring the Trump tax cuts. Then you retire some of the debt. Small debt payments will strengthen US dollar and help reduce inflation.

I believe the correct thing to do is to cut the fat and fraud out of the system and start bringing down the national debt. And start scaling back the tax burden.
I think it would be cool to put all the money that is being cut into a big pot and then distribute it evenly to "tax payers". This would be like in squid game. The money would be given out every quarter and the amount would grow with every gov't tax dollar saved. This would have every low income person in the united states clamoring for the govt to cut spending. And the Republicans would never lose and election again.

We don't get to decide where our taxpayer money goes unfortunately.
In a perfect world, all of those people who earmarked that $$ would be in Gitmo. The people who signed off on the money need to be anally probed yugely.

Would be nice to get refunded, but very unlikely. I think the following would be reasonable:
1. Major restructuring of how the federal government is funded. It’s fair to point out that people who don’t pay taxes have no skin in the game. Now is the time to abolish the IRS & income tax…Switch to combination of national sales tax and tariffs.
2. Seize assets where fraud can be proven. All others who were just gaming the system get automatic audits to look for improprieties in their tax returns.
