Another round of lost family members / friends

I lost contact with a number of friends / contacts, and even a few family members, during 2017 - 2020. In every single case, the other person broke off contact with me.
Why? Because I dared not agree with 100 percent of their TDS-influenced meltdowns.
It sucks. Those were good people who were brainwashed and could not see that.
Now, it's happening again... no... those people are still gone, but it's happening to a whole new batch of people. TDS 2.0 seems a whole lot stronger than TDS 1.0, and there may not be any cures that they are willing to accept. The absolute meltdowns, fake news, and all that are insane and one thing.
But what I can't stand, and what is FAR worse this time... is the "we know better than you" and condescending attitudes.
If someone wante to post garbage on their own pages, cool. But when you come on to other people's pages, post garbage, and then attack them for not agreeing with you... that... that is a mental disorder.
Dear Facebook... but as a human, this sucks. Oh well.

I can't think of anyone besides likeminded close friends that I discuss politics with, nor do I know very many people who even bother sharing political things on social media these days.

I had a couple of “friends” try to cause drama with my girlfriend at the time/now wife that I was an insane republican because I voted for Trump

My IRL experience is it's pretty easy to avoid. Maybe I'm just lucky but none of the people in my family or that' I'm around want to talk about it 24/7, or at all, really. They might say something once in a while but I don't engage with them and eventually we move on to something else.
