Karon Eugene intercepted Elijah Haven in the end zone to clinch the championship in December for Catholic New Iberia.
He smiled and got a gleam in his eyes when I asked about schools he's interested in...."LSU," he said.
Has five offers. LSU was at Catholic NI to talk with his coach and extend an invitation to junior day this weekend.
Check out his vertical leap in basketball. Dad played in the NFL.

His dad is Hiram Eugene from Jeanerette. Played at LA Tech and played for the Raiders..

LSU should absolutely load up in '26 and '27. I don't know what NIL and rev share are going to look like then, but if it reverts back to close to what normal was, the future is very bright.

I don't have a subscription to see where exactly he ranks.
