I don't know what it is about that case but everytime a "new" show comes out about it with basically the same information relayed in a different manner I still can't help but watch it. It's pretty good really through E2. 4 parts.

I’ve spent way too much time obsessing about that case and we already know everything about it. Like I listened to everything Howard Stern has ever said about OJ to truly understand the mindset of that time, which is a masters course on the OJ trial. That was back before he was a corporate hack who would say anything his overlords told him.

King Kong had less screen time than OJ.

More movies, rehash docs, conspiracy docs, miniseries,....not to mention the year long trial that more people probably watched than Lost.

50 years from now, a President will release the OJ Files.

And then we can move on.

No angle, just fantastic play by play of the situation. All of the people involved.

Much more evidence that wasn't admissible in court in this documentary that I haven't seen in others. It's astounding and I'm only early on in episode 2.

Great show. Very suprised given that we already know everything mainly. This was one of the best shows on the case ive seen. Worth a watch. Definitely worth giving E1 a shot. The pacing of it is good. Fast out of the gate.

I always feel uneasy when a doc is made about something I was around during when it took place and remembered how it was in real time. Be it 'the trial of the century', '9 -11' or whatever.

I finished the first two episodes last night. You are right, the amount of evidence and witnesses that wasn’t used or collected is unbelievable. I can’t get over them not collecting that perfect bloody fingerprint on the gate door knob.

They had to suppress as much as they could. If he would have been found guilty (as he obviously should have), they would have burnt the city down again.

This. They rigged it from the start for him to be found not guilty.

Half-watching this as the wife watches it.

I've seen a thousand shows about the murders/trial, and every time I'm reminded and delighted to hear that "O.J. had a disguise kit in the Bronco".

What a missed opportunity, O.J. being arrested while wearing a wig, fake nose, and prop eyeglasses.

I'm right there with you

Back when the Saints played the Rams in the Coliseum a few years back we were sightseeing one day and I remember passing the exits for Brentwood and Rockingham.

Also, I thoroughly enjoyed the series FX put out a few years back on the trial. I believe it was a 7 or 8 part series.

The absurdity around how much evidence was against him and how absolutely ridiculous the entire situation was from start to beginning is mind blowing.

He chopped the mother of his children’s head off while his children were asleep upstairs at 10pm on a Sunday night like 10 paces from the sidewalk/street.

Absolute psychopath. And he absolutely effed poor Ron up who was a big arse dude:

Always spooky to me the street was Bundy too.

Obviously everyone knew he was dead to rights guilty but I do remember the Furmen evidence planting thing being completely squashed as he would have had no idea OJ didn’t have a rock solid alibi at the time of when he had planted the glove.

Also pretty obvious they picked the jury to lose the case.

I'm pretty sure Goldman was around 6', 170 lbs- pretty scrawny compared to OJ, who went around 220.

Finished the series last night. Carl Douglas was very "theatrical". He was definitely taking advantage of one last moment in the spotlight.

I too have watched plenty of content around this case, but it still fascinates me and I watch anything new that comes out. For someone who just said what I said, I don't necessarily remember any of the documentaries that flat out show her body laying there in the walkway. And they show it multiple times. It's very gruesome but adds even more weight to the story as opposed to just the usual b-stock style footage of a bloody walkway or pool of blood.

I think the most important part of the whole thing is when he told his agent, If Nicole wouldn't have answered the door with a knife she'd still be here.... I don't know if I ever remember that about the case. I guess I always assumed he brought the knife with him.

One thing I’ve learned from these last two OJ docs:

Carl Douglas is a certified piece of shite.

Highly agreed on Douglas.

His “big-arse bowl of spaghetti” analogy was fricking nasty. It turned my stomach. Were he more articulate, he’d have fashioned a better way to make that point.
