3. Cassidy could win if he'd change his party affiliation to Democrat.
Sadly, this is actually plausible. Or…more likely if the Dems do a voter registration drive to become new Republicans (en masse).

Someone needs to step up and challenge him as soon as possible.
And, it needs to be one person everyone can get behind. Not sixteen people.
Which means this state will arse it up.

Sadly, you may be correct.
However, my guess is that there will only be three legit candidates, one from the SW corner of the state, Fleming, and Cassidy.
If I’m correct, then Cassidy is going to have a tough time without Dems supporting him.
As such, I could see him courting them.

Dude, go get a real job first. Then you can lead working men afterwards.
I don’t trust anyone to lead who can’t succeed in their own lives. We don’t need more career politicians.

Does Fleming suck?
He does not. Neither really does Blake Miguez, who has also announced his intention to challenge.
Initially, I was thinking Fleming and Miguez needed to work something out so as to not let Cassidy win the primary with a plurality, which was the way the original closed primary bill was written. However, upon further investigation a few days ago, it appears you must have 50%+1.
So theoretically, Miguez and Fleming could both still run, and likely it would be a closed primary runoff between one of them and Cassidy. You just have to hope the supporters of whichever one of them doesn't survive gets out and votes for the other to prevent Cassidy from squeaking through the primary.

Fleming will win. Much stronger candidate than Cassidy. He will have the backing of the state rep party, the gov, trump, and speaker Johnson . Money will begin to flow in short order .

Provide info/proof of Fleming / Cassidy connection.
I've met Fleming and do not believe he supports Cassidy. Self funded his campaign for Treasurer. Also understands what the Federal government should be, National defense and prevention of monopolies. Could be wrong, but please back your statement with a source.

That would seem to signify a pretty big fallout if Landry were to endorse Fleming over Miguez in the Primary.

1) Yes, let's use tigerdroppings to smear political opponents...I'm sure nothing will backfire here.
2) What policies of Fleming's do you dislike? Please cite the policy, provide a link, then explain, intelligently, why you dislike it.
3) Fleming endorsed Trump in 2016, genius.
4) The only similarities i see between Cassidy and Fleming is they are both Doctors. Is this all you have?
5) What are your policy positions?

According to the conservative website RedState, Fleming was one of 16 U.S. House members in the "Conservative Fight Club," a designation meant to describe the "gold standard for conservatives in the House," as outlined by RedState. They were the 16 Republicans who voted against the continuing appropriations resolution to avoid the impending government shutdown in March 2013. This type of resolution is used to fund government agencies when a formal federal budget has not been approved.[4]

Oh, you forgot this about Fleming.

His career experience includes working as an entrepreneur, a physician, and a deputy chief of staff to then-President Donald Trump.

The bulk of them aren't even republicans. They're all just tools of the lobbyists, some of them even lobbyists that are reps now. But if they're pushing someone over Cassidy, the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
