Challenge-Best Chef Of The TD Food Board Challenge

Well, since it appears our regular food challenges have died off, I thought maybe we can have a fun game of Best Chef of the Food Board. Do you think you have what it takes to be crowned Best Chef of the TD Food Board? Only one way to find out. We rarely had more than about 16 people participate in our old challenges, so here goes. The first 16 folks to reply in this thread that they want to compete will enter our single elimination tournament of food. We will cook a 4 course meal over the whole tourney. Round 1 will be appetizers. Winners will then compete in Round 2 with soup or salad, Round 3 will play host to entrees, and then the last two chefs will have dessert as their final competition. 16 will enter, only 1 will win! First 16 folks to reply in this thread that they want to compete will take the spots. Each round will be judged by the members of the food board just like in our other challenges, but the voting will be head to head, with the winners moving on to the next round. Exact rules for each round will be posted once we have the bracket full. I am willing to run this, so who wants in??

Unfortunately I am not, work has been vv busy. I was just responding to Sun God. I do like the idea of the challenges continuing in some form though

I mean, it is not like your culinary style requires a lot of time in the kitchen.

True but I am away from home a lot

I'm on the road and don't have the luxury of a full kitchen but I do have "a" kitchen so count me in.

Love the idea but I can't commit to that... busy time coming on.
Will definitely follow and vote though.

Love this idea. I’ll participate if slots are still available.

We are nearing half way full. Who else would like to compete in the challenge?

I'm probably the best, but I have no time for such things.
