WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump’s administration has moved to end affirmative action in federal contracting and directed that all federal diversity, equity and inclusion staff be put on paid leave and eventually be laid off.

My prediction is that corporations will follow suit shortly. They usually try to mirror the federal government with policy like this. Think of how much money you can save by scrapping your DEI department?

It's crazy in corporate America.
White and Asian guys are almost always the ones solving issues, fixing shite when it goes haywire.
Yet, we get passed over for management promotions.
Its incredibly disheartening to bust your arse and see people way less qualified getting jobs you deserve.

Can we point to other socialist movements that have actually 'died'? Because no matter how much they get pounded by reality and proven to be utterly toxic and inefficacious ideologies, they seem to pop back up under some new name or movement. They never actually die.
I don't believe for a second that DEI is dead. All the people working in DEI roles in government or the private sector will just have their titles and roles changed and moved around their organizations. It will take years if not decades for this bullshite to end and it never will totally end.

Hopefully this ends all of those stupid affinity clubs- minority club by race, sexual orientation club, female club, etc. There never was a club for all of the people doing the actual work. DEI killed productivity. Get back to work now, everyone.
