I feel like this has been going on for at least 10-15 years. Hopefully they make it happen.

Love all of Larson's books. Looking forward to this one.

In the Garden of Beasts, Dead Wake, and the Splendid and the Vile would also make good films.

Is this based on serial killer H. H. Holmes?

Was he supposed to have done this a while ago?

Before I knew what killers of the flower moon was, when I heard the title, I thought that was going to be the Chicago murderer movie.

So I guess was this a project that got announced before KOTFM and the pushed back?

Yes, the book is split between Holmes and one of the chief architects for the Chicago World's Fair.

Yes, Leo and Scorcese have been eyeing this for a like a decade. Last I heard about it was several years back when they wanted to do a mini-series, but I guess it came back around to movie.

Hell, I'm still waiting on their Teddy Roosevelt biopic that's been talked about for at least that long.

I read the two books one after the other. My hopes were sky high for KOTFM... Hoping that they don't let me down with this one.

O wow. Never read the book but watched a documentary years ago on H. H. Holmes and it was pretty chilling. Would be in the theatres opening day for this one.

I had no idea about the enormity of the first Ferris Wheel until I read this book.

Was coming to post the same thing.

With source material like KOTFM, they made a film that wasn't all that engaging. Hoping this will be better.

One of my pet peeves is mystery novels turned into films with no mystery. If you go into KOTFM knowing the villains in advance, it's like a bad knockoff of Columbo.

I wish the Dune films treated the secret of the spice as an actual secret, as the book did.

Same. I've been waiting forever for this adaptation but part of me wishes they had moved on and allowed other talent to do this at this point. I don't know that either of them can adapt this as it should be to the screen.

The book goes into great detail on how the FBI managed to solve the case. The movie barely touched on that.
