I only remember Shinedown from the year the LSU student government booked them for Groovin on the Grounds and they posted a video on social media of themselves chugging bourbon backstage mocking the “good time not wasted” message

Yeah they have some good music.
They get the same kind of hate that bands like Nickelback and others do.
Judging by some of the YouTube vids out there they look to put on a good show.

They played at the Varsity many years back. I wanta say Trapt opened for them but not 100% sure. That was a helluva show. Ears were ringing for 2 days.

Shinedown has been playing arenas for at least 10 years. Acid Bath wouldn't fill half of it.

Yea- they aren’t changing the course of music or anything but if you are looking for good radio friendly//commercial rock they certainly can write a catchy tune and the singer has some pipes.
I’m not going out of my way to see them but not making fun of anyone either
