They took away wfh, in office every day now. But we still are expected to wfh on inclement weather days and sick days. Post Covid in office is the worst of both worlds.

Corporate America has a broken leadership model. Plenty of us successful hard workers can work from home, but archaeic thinking and a few worthless workers ruin it for others. Thankfully, Im WFA.

I worked from home on snow days pre-covid. Remote working has been possible 20 years

I see the plant baw ratio is skewed tonight. Easy to work in the plant during a snow storm with hazard pay watching movies and playing bourré

Tell them you are unable to bring your laptop home due to not wanting any liability.

Workers need to fight back.

Next time your company leaders give some speech about loyalty, remember this... company loyalty only goes one way.

The language in that EO is so vague.

If you read it at face value, it says all remote work agreements are cancelled.

Remove work agreements are not the same as telework agreements

Curious as to how that's enforced by the agency heads as it gives them pretty wide leeway to implement things as necessary

Get a lawnmower, a trailer, and a weed-eater.

Agree. I take care of me now though. However they choose to handle is their business.

The only time I've cancelled shifts for snow is because we had 22" in about 5 hours. Suck it up.

Yeah I'm not doing it. 75 % of the company is off w/ pay but they want 25% to work is BS. The best part is if we do work i can't get material out because the warehouse and drivers are off.

I have huge accounts that are shut down until Thursday morning.
The only person that would be calling is a home owner which I don't deal with. I think this was a chicken shite way to get people to take a vacation day.
I read the hand book for the info that inclement weather counts as a paid day.
I could loose internet or electricity ect.

I just want to run around w/ my kids in the snow.

This and sheep syndrome. Bunch of people who didn’t give a shite about WFH until they were told to.

Corporate America has a DEI and social justice problem, so the rules have to be adjusted to their level.
