Tastes like fricking pond water.

This is an accurate description of Shreveport water:

It’s not normally like this.

It’s been bad for the past few weeks though. We have been drinking bottled water.

Not sure what happened, but they need to fix it soon.

I have little faith though.

You wouldn’t believe what it does to the bottom of a water heater

Evergreen, La is pretty awful as well. Been drinking bottled water since we’ve been here, dog too…

Drinking mud water and smelling paper kills fart fumes. The monroe life.

I went to a Cajun restaurant in south Shreveport a couple of weeks ago and ordered a coke, then Dr Pepper, then tea because each one tasted like it came from a rusty pipe. Never got a drink I could drink but the food was great.

Does Shreveport bring anything to the table? I'm genuinely curious if someone could enlighten me. I drove through there and literally saw "Shitport" graffiti'd on a building and a pothole on 20 almost swallowed my car.

It's tasted like pond scum for at least the last 5 to 6 years. When I grew up there the water tasted pretty good.

I remember well the old days of visiting someone in Slidell. The houses always smelled like someone just took a shite. Water was fricking nasty.

Shreveport is racing Jackson to the bottom in a few categories.

Snyder, Texas.

You can smell the rotten eggs from the faucet. I’ve got no problem drinking Shreveport tap water when compared to that.
