Credit to the LSU Staff helping JD5 get back his mojo after ASU

Something that isn’t talked about enough is how LSU really set JD5 up for success.
His work ethic and the LSU staff’s ability to get his confidence up and set him up for success needs to be commended.
What he’s accomplishing at Washington is really fun to watch.

As far as QB coaches are concerned, I don't think it gets any better than Sloan.

Agree with this 100%. Too many on here act like THIS Jaden and our Heisman winner was almost the same player when he arrived. He transformed between his junior and senior year. I personally think he saw how committed and hard working Joe Burrow was, and through hard work and preparation Jaden transformed from a guy that was scared to pull the trigger into a super prepared and super confident guy on the field. The LSU staff and high tech facilities enabled it and deserve some credit. He should be the role model for many high school and college kids. Jaden was born with talent that few have, but it wasn't until that talent met extreme preparation that he turned in to one of the best ever. And I hope some of these kids notice that LSU helped enable this.

Joe Brady? Don’t get me wrong, he did great with Jayden but I don’t know if that’s enough to say that he is the best QB coach in the world

His humble attitude on top of that!
Easy to love JD5

Man, you can’t go posting positive stuff on here about the LSU’s coaching staff . are you crazy? They gonna run you out of Baton Rouge . You might even get death threats . The lunatics on here don’t want to see nothing positive about BK and his staff. You better duck . Because the roaches are gonna come crawling out to attack you

What in the hell are you talking about?

That had nothing to do with anything . I watched him here in frisco work with the QB club all summer . Sloan had no part in those two a days but go on …

That VR football simulator Cognilize that LSU implemented really made a huge difference at LSU and in Washington. The mental reps quadrupled w/o risk of injury and is played at 2x speed so that gameday actually feels slow.
We saw the drastic jump in his play when JD first used it against Moo St. They’ve tweaked it so much, they’ve got it programmed now to even have Kingsbury’s voice calling out the plays.

Is Joe Brady more of an offensive system/route tree guru, or a player developer? Obviously it can be some of each, but I guess I assumed he was more of the former, mostly due to him being part of three great offenses with 3 vastly different QB's in Brees, Burrow, and now Josh Allen (I dont count his time at Carolina as he was under Matt Ruhle who shite the bed as a head NFL coach).

Okay. Cool.
So LSU gets credit for JD5's success.
BK gets credit for Freeman's success.
See a pattern?

He said that there aren’t in QB coaches better than Joe Sloan and I was asking if he things Joe Brady might be better.

Probably both. I’m just saying if you are going to point to JD’s jump from year 1 to year 2, why wouldn’t you do the same with Burrow. It’s also worth noting that Josh Allen has elevated his game to a level that he never has before with worse weapons than he had before.

And in scurries kingcockroach.
Tell me, did you catch Brian Kelly in bed with your wife or does she call out his name in the throes of passion?

I know this will anger some, but if JD5 had shown up in game 1 against FSU and had gotten only one first down against Ole Miss, we would have been in the playoff. Can’t say the same about Burrow. He overcame a very depleted defense at Texas and willed that team to win every game until the D came around at the end of the year. LSU D played great football during the playoff run, but was giving up big numbers all year. Burrow just out scored everybody - including Bama at Bama.

I see it as much simpler than everybody. JD5 had ok junior season for one reason and one reason only: He held onto the ball too long bc he was afraid to throw down field. Over the spring and summer that was the one area where he worked, both physically and mentally. Senior season he let it fly down field to Nabers and BTJ...Heisman...NFC championship game.
Simple: He started trusting his arm downfield and that has made all the difference.
