Danny Ainge sees a game the Jazz might be in danger of winning, shuts down enough guys to ensure the loss.

Yeah, you keep wishing for that miracle run to the 10 spot. Good luck.

We could have shut down Zion and Murray tonight and still won. Some of y’all need to realize we have to much talent to finish with the worst record in the league

As long as they stay bottom 8 (preferably bottom 6) they should have a decent shot at a top 3 pick. But they are at risk of rising higher if they manage to stay healthy the rest of the year. They may have to trade both CJ and BI to keep the wins down.

They have to trade CJ as well as BI at a minimum.

I'm amazed that so many think this team is gonna stay healthy the remainder of the season to where they will play themselves out of the lottery. Injuries, the schedule & Willie Green will continue to lead to losses.

Games get tougher in a week or two. I’m not sweating the tank choke too hard here. I just have zero trust in griff and gayle doing what’s best long term. That’s where I’m stressing

I don't think that is the fear. We just don't want to end up in the back half of the lottery and wind up with a pick 8-14. That's just no man's land and generally doesn't land you an impact rookie.

Pels are 6-4 in the month of January with 7 games remaining. February can affectionately be considered the Play-IN Gauntlet.

Pels can’t drop consecutive games and need to go on multiple mini win streaks. Feels like the Pelicans are allergic to winning 5 in a row.

The Play-In was designed for teams that get off to slow starts and catch fire later in the season and it’s time for the Play-In- Pels to strike again.

To do the impossible you have to take steps you never taken. Sure, I know how it will end (“with the 11th pick in the 2025 Draft The New…) but frick ima enjoy the ride mf’er!

Its exactly what we have to do and should do.

We are currently 6 games back from #8 which is the 76ers and Embid is about to come back.

The Bulls are 1.5 games ahead of them.

The Spurs at #10 are 9.5 games ahead of us (Really 19 games unless its a straight win/ loss every game) with 39 games left in the season.

There is no way we finish above them and they would still currently miss the play in by 2 spots win the west.

If we trade CJ/ BI today there's no way we finish outside of the bottom 8.

If we don't trade CJ/ BI today then there's probably still no way we finish outside of the bottom 8 and are now wasting time.

I am fine with playing to win and hoping for the best, but please do not make any win now moves.
