2011 defense or 2019 offense?

Just in their respective college seasons, obviously 2019 offense is already killing it in the pros. I think it’s a lot closer than many of you would say but I still lean towards the 2019 offense. Thoughts?

2019 offense was GOAT
2011 defense was really good.

That defense could score on their own and the secondary all played in the NFL. I think it would be close ( Auburn type game)

There are arguments to be made for Bama 2011 defense being as good or maybe a tad better than LSU 2011.
There is nobody better than 2019 LSU Offense… nuf said

2019 offense and it is not even close.

I think I’d take 2011 defense
2019 would score points, yes. But they would not run through 2011 def.

2011 defense was amazing, one of the best I’ve ever seen.
2019 offense would put 31 on them.

2019 offense by a country mile.

03 defense was better
03 defense was terrific, DB's were tough and played tight coverage. I loved that defense
Different game, offenses were just getting out of the run first pass when you had to. The game has opened up but I think that 03 defense was good enough to be dominate in today's game
Good post

A much more interesting question would be:
If the 2023 offense had the 2019 defense, would 2023 team have been as good as 2019?

which one, won a national championship the 2011 defense or the 2019 offense I’ll leave it at that
you must be seriously bored or incredibly high, If you think that crap deserves a closer look

It depends on the rules. Play by 2019 rules and that offense would light up the 2011 defense. Play by the 2011 rules and it would be a very different story. Offensive tackles could not hold so flagrantly, and receivers could not push off. I’d still bet on Joe to squeeze out the win.

Heard a Sportsbook guy talking about how defense gets you to the championship but once you get there and have 2 good defenses then the best offense usually wins and the games usually go over. He said it happens in college, NFL and CFL. That’s why I like OSU on Monday.
