Moscona is right about Kelly being right.

Brady Quinn states that Kelly leaving was the impetus for ND to build a new football operations center, and Quinn himself led a big NIL money drive. Because of this, ND is a much better program than it has been because they finally got off their arse and upgraded their program which was long overdue.. This is exactly why Kelly left ND because he wanted to go to a place like LSU that had already built a new football building and was willing to spend money to raise the LSU program to a champiionship level. Kelly was right and Quinn provides vindication for CBK even without meaning to. Kelly did everything that Freeman has done at ND and without the resources that Freeman has now.

Heard that segment. He made a pretty good point regarding what put the burning platform under Notre Dame to start spending.

Yeah only bandwagon notre dame figs waste their time hating Brian Kelly for leaving the program in their best position in decades.

Why should I believe Moscona knows anything about what kind of money Notre Dame was putting into football before or after Kelly left? Because he went there for his freshman year of college then left?

Can we quit making excuses for Kelly at ND? He sure has made enough excuses while he’s been here. Let’s see if he can win a title anywhere other than at the lower levels of football (grand valley). He has a lot to prove and has underperformed for what he is paid.

Was with you until you brought up how much he is paid. It's irrelevant and I wish people would quit using it to justify expectations. LSU is always going to have a top 10 highest paid coach, whether he is #3 or #8 on that list doesn't really matter.

Okay. Well, now that Freeman has comparable resources as Kelly, Freeman has his team playing in the NC. All the while, Kelly won the Texas Bowl after losing to USC by 7 (who Notre Dame beat by 14), losing to A&M by 15 (who Notre Dame beat by 10), losing to the worst Alabama team in 17 years by 29, and losing to a very average Florida team by 11.

He did not go to ND. He went to Holy Cross College next to ND.

You shouldn’t. But he was literally playing clips of Brady Quinn admitting as such. Kelly leaving pissed him off and he got a bunch of boosters together to get their shite together and join the arms race.
It was ironic because he didn’t have the self-awareness to realize he was actually confirming and justifying everything Kelly said about why he left. Both programs are better off for it. It’s silly that either side would have bad feelings toward the other.
Still, fricking Go Buckeyes!!!

He didn't say he knew anything about what kind of money ND was spending. He was discussing Brady Quinn's podcast, where Quinn said it.
