Loomis is a lying train wreck.

Just heard snippets of his interview.
It’s lie after lie. Said he loves more draft picks. Saints have drafted the fewest players in the league under his watch. Also has never traded down to get more picks. Not even once.
Said he loves his drafting record.
Thinks our cap situation isn’t as bad as it seems and it’s been getting better the last few years. We are by far the worse team over the cap and it’s not even close.
He has buried us in cap hell all the while drafting the fewest players, drafting bad to average players.
He’s freaking delusional and I’m more pissed after hearing his interview yesterday.

What do you want him to say as we are in the middle of a coaching search? Think, bro. He has a job to do. I don't like him either, but trying to make our job look more attractive than it happens to be is his job.

Over his time in New Orleans, NO has actually ranked near the top with retaining drafted players. The problem is that many of those players were not worth retaining. The magic of Loomis is that he is horrible at player evaluation.
