Who do you want the Saints coach to be?

I’ll go Ben Johnson, but that probably isn’t happening. I’d be ok with MM (although most posters aren’t)
I want to see the responses.

TBH I just don't care as long as Loomis is in control of the cap.

I get ben Johnson is a great oc, but why are fans so hellbent on him?
Anywhere he goes that's a rebuild won't have
The wide receivers, the tight end, the running back, or the OL. Hell Goff is severely underrated as well.
Yes his play calling has been great, but the amount of talent they have will take time to accumulate for whoever he goes to, unless it's something like Dallas.

They need a head coach that is going to set the culture
You can hire assistants for the X/O part you need to supplement your staff with
I do not want McCarthy or some retread
I'm ok with Glenn and would love to have Brady or Johnson but I think those two are pipe dreams. Brady is not coming into a bad QB situation, he already had that in Carolina.

Today I'd rank them
1) McCarthy
2) Aaron Glenn
3) Joe Brady
4) Darren Rizzi
5) Anthony Weaver
Of the coaches they have interviewed or are expected to interview.

I think it’s going to be Aaron Glenn, but Mickey needs to go.

I wanted Vrabel.
With our situation pretty dire and our cap a total mess. Til take a few years to clean up, prefer to get a placeholder.
Kinda want Chucky. Then worry about getting a real coach for the long term when our situation is better.

I’m ruling out Johnson so my top 3 in order would be:
1. Brady
2. McCarthy
3. Glenn
I think all 3 would be good hires but I prefer an offensive mind this time. I’m not as down on Glenn as everyone else. But I do think Brady and McCarthy would likely turn the Saints around faster and develop our eventual first round QB we will take in the next 3 years, but I’d prefer Brady because of how young he is and he has a higher ceiling than MM.

There are a few i wouldn't mind, but there are a few i do not want. I'll be honest, the next few years are gonna suck. I'd take the guy with experience and a Super Bowl regardless. Maybe he make it less painless and if anybody could make Gayle see that Loomis is the one that fricked this franchise 3 ways from Sunday, it's a guy that has a Super Bowl ring, just worked for Jerry, and has worked for the Saints before. I think i just talked myself into McCarthy.

Kellen Moore or McCarthy. I think Kingsbury will go to Vegas, Sark to Dallas or Chicago, Ryan back with the Jets, Deion to Jacksonville. Brady will stand pat, and wait for Cincinnati

Sell the team, move to San Diego, hire a decent coach.

I’ll be happy if it’s a guy with a offensive background.

Honestly it doesn’t matter to me. This coach will be fired in 3 years for record even though we will have no way to improve our roster situation.
Any one of these candidates will not be set up for success.
2028 season is the re-start of the ascension.

This is my take as well. I don’t love any of the options out there, but would be satisfied with the 3 listed and any would be a major improvement over DA. I would add Weaver too, he is intriguing at least. I would maybe put him at 3 over Glenn. More of a 3A and 3B I guess.
