Woooooow…
Was not expecting it to be the funniest I seen from last year. It’s one of the best of 2024. I love how the movie starts out as one thing, and then switched up completely into another.
Mikey Madison should win the Oscar for her performance.
The ending was heartbreaking yet beautiful at the same time and really puts an exclamation point on a fantastic movie.

Totally agree with this. Saw it several weeks ago and it’s easily my favorite movie of 2024. Unless I’m blown away by The Brutalist, it will be my pick for the Oscar as well.
Mikey and Russian Timothee Chalamet did great, but I think the real stars of the movie were the goons called in to fix the problems. They were all hilarious and once the movie turned into a road trip, they really started to shine.

All three kinda stole the show. Best way to describe this movie is Cinderella meets Uncut Gems and Malibu’s Most Wanted

Saw it last night. I was not expecting a screwball comedy in the middle of the movie but damn that part was hilarious (crawling around jersey shore looking for the son).

They were in Brighton Beach. Which is a Russian neighborhood in Brooklyn. I’ve always associated it with depression since GTA 4

Doubtful. Though we'll see what SAG does. The betting odds favor Demi Moore though that might change after Mikey Madison's win tonight at BAFTA.

Finally caught this on Prime last night. Hell of a movie

Odd sidenote maybe. After an entire era of the “femme fatale” outsmarting all the bad guys and wrapping the movie with a huge win, I reallly wanted to see Ani walk away with a major bag of cash or something . The ring and 10k was cool, but the billionaire family were horrible, the kid worst of all. Wish she’d have played hardball over the annulment. But clearly it wasn’t about money for her

JUST watched it. Started off slow, but ended up being pretty solid. Thought it was longer than it should have been though. Mikey Madison was good too.
The scene where the three dudes showed up and were introduced in the middle of the movie was a great scene too. Best part of the movie.

I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy. In fact, if someone enjoys this movie, cut them out of your life immediately—they are beyond saving. Rating: -100/10. Burn it. Bury it. Pretend it never existed.
