Bring your mountain climbing gear, oxygen, and hire the Sherpa.

Can only summit during a three week window in April, weather is too treacherous any other time of year, and do not get me started on the unreliable sherpas.

I hung out at base camp for a couple weeks. Never made the summit, though.

Drove four hours for a thirty minute hike. My, at the time, five year old had to take a dump behind a log at the top. At 14, she still likes to tell people that she took the highest dump in Louisiana.

Can’t be done. We don’t have the technology for humans to climb such heights.

Not even sure the human mind can comprehend that kind of view of God’s country

My pawpaw died summiting Driskill back in the ‘70s. He’s still up there:

I don’t go during the winter because of all the snow up there.

There are many buildings in Louisiana with a higher prominence, I'd think.

Honestly, it's not much, but you get to say you did it.

Place is a milf magnet.

I go several times a year. This is the last trip.

It’s worth checking out if you’re in the area and looking for something to do. It’s not worth traveling there from any sort of distance though.
