He struggled stopping Penn St’s run game while not having to worry about a pass to a single WR. Ohio St has some stud WR’s, TE’s, RB’s and Oline.

I don't know why so many people thought that. Penn State only beat 1 ranked team I believe in the regular season and then had SMU and Boise St. in the first two rounds of the playoffs. They hadn't beaten anyone of significance and almost had a few additional losses to USC and Minnesota.
Notre Dame plays very aggressive on defense and special teams, so if their offense is struggling, they can score in multiple ways. I think Ohio State has more talent and is the best team ND will have faced, but it also wouldn't be shocking if ND pulled off an upset even though I think Ohio State will win.
