I love how efficient our government functions for such a small task.

Ordered on 12/21 submitted for ATF approval on 1/9.

Waiting game begins.

I have had people tell me its been weeks for them. I've had others saying they are getting close to a year. I ordered one 11/5. Should have it in hand Monday.

Back in October, I did paperwork, etc on a Thursday afternoon. It was approved the next Tuesday afternoon.

I'm hearing that filing individual and filing the actual paperwork instead of eforms or whatever is faster somehow.

Individual/rifle is fastest. However, my last two within the last 6 months were trust/efile and took less than a week each.

I got a banish 223 from Silencer Central. I had a free .22 supressor or a credit for whatever else they had from the turkey banquet I went to back in September.

Speaking of Suppressors....Who threads barrels? i-10 from Mobile to Lake Charles is my territory, so I am open to dropping off a few guns to a good gunsmith along that route.

I just started the process with Silencer Central on a .22 Banish. Will be interesting to see how slowly or quickly it goes.

For those that use Silencer Central, how long does it take them to put together the docs to file?

I've done all my tasks- waiting on them.

I have used SC several times. They are very fast on documents. The only issues I have with them is the CLEO process and shipping to the FFL. Most of the problem is the USPS being incompetent. It took my last CLEO 27 days. I have a banish .22 on the way I got from the BOGO sale. Trying to find the right pistol now. Probably ruger 22/45.

It was just a few days for me. They are quick to put the ball back in your court. Started 11/5 - did my stuff about as fast as possible. Got it delivered this past Monday.
