Some people are going to be PISSED when they realize they can’t watch tonight’s game if they don’t have Amazon Prime

I will not be one of those people

Yeah, I’m not really a fan of the NFL putting a playoff game (especially a good one like Steelers vs. Ravens) on a streaming only platform. I have Prime Video, so I’m good, but it seems like it limits the exposure of the game.

Just wait until the AFC Championship is streamed exclusively on Netflix in 3-4 years.

About the actual games..

Ravens -9.5 is insane to me. Playoff Lamar is a real thing and no team knows how to play Lamar better than the Steelers.

But the Steelers are not very good.. and are slumping badly. 9 is rather high but I would be be surprised if they blow them out.

Styles make fights. Steelers split with the ravens and the game they lost was a one score game in the 4th. Lamar throws to open receivers, he doesn’t throw receivers open. Refs allow a lot more contact in the secondary in the playoffs. Plus with Zay out Lamar loses his only WR that can consistently seperate. So the Steelers can play man on the outside with little concern and bring an extra man in the box to deal with Henry.

I think the game comes down to Russ for the Steelers and Henry for the ravens.

Bro, Rashod Bateman is consistently top 3 in the NFL in separation

Per PFF, so take that for what it’s worth.

ETA: He created separation on 77.3% of routes run.

it might come down to fields with his legs if russ can't right the ship.

that said, i think the steelers take this one. 23 - 20.

Playoff Tomlin is a real thing too. Steelers are 0-5 in their last five playoff games allowing 40.4 PPG. Tomlin’s defenses tend to choke hard in the playoffs.

Lamar doesn’t trust him like he does Zay. He’s had all of 100 receiving yards in a game 3x in 4 seasons.

.

The Ravens seasons low on offense production always occurs in the playoffs under Lamar. So the immovable object meets the unstoppable force.
