If it's JUST to not be able to call him a "convicted felon", didn't that already happen in the conviction stage? This is just sentencing, right?

This is one of the greatest miscarraiges of justice in US history. It's disgusting, it has irreparable consequences, and this is the one vendetta (and Pelosi) that I hope Trump pursues with every ounce of his pettiness. frick these people with the energy of 1000 suns.

While this is 100% true, it's also important to mention that it's merely been done and allowed to give the media narrative control apparatus their "muh cOnViCtEd FeLoN" talking point.
This entire bogus and fraudulent ordeal is going to be reversed and outright thrown out on appeal. It was never about putting Trump in prison, it was about the narrative.
