His response to being the first black HC to coach for a natty was great. ESPN of course had to bring it up.
Dude has a tough team, and they could have easily packed it in after losing to NIU. And they’ve won with a bad QB.

He's 6-1 in bowl game, recently became a Catholic, and is from a military family and has like 6 kids.

Basically said he doesn’t want to take away from the team, and he hopes any person…black, Asian, white…great people get opportunities to lead teams.

Lots of douchebag coaches out there….but Freeman seems like a really solid guy.

Yep.
He is absolutely awesome. I appreciate how he handles questions.
I also thought it was cool how he didn't get pissed about the PI call that took away a turnover. He just smiled and kept cool.

I think this is because ND fans are being obnoxious about their success, so that's my biggest hold up to compliment anything ND related. However, can't help but still say Freeman is a class act.

He’s so much better than Kelly. I’m a diehard LSU fan but I love how bad Brian Kelly looks right now and all the losers coping about it in the rant.

Yeah, I grew up hating ND. Seeing LSU mop them up in Shreveport and then in the 07 Sugar Bowl was awesome. That game in NO is one of my all-time favorite LSU wins. I still think we got screwed in the Music City Bowl. Hiring Kelly also made for an interesting war of words.
