BOGALUSA, La. — Bogalusa Mayor Tyrin Truong was arrested early Tuesday morning in a joint effort by Louisiana State Police and the Bogalusa Police Department, sources have confirmed to WWL Louisiana.
The charges Truong faces weren't made clear by authorities at the time of publication.
The Washington Parish Sheriff's Office is expected to announce details regarding the charges and Truong's arrest status later today, sources told WWL Louisiana.
