Why are they calling Kamala Harris "Madam President?"

Am I missing something here? I thought Kamala Harris was Madam VICE PRESIDENT, not Madam President

You would not need only to watch this to learn that. VP has served as president of senate for more than your life span whatever that happens to be. I don’t fault you as a person but more like you falling in a category of stupidity of some 75% of Americans on anything politically related

I did pass a test. I turned on the tv and heard them calling her madam president so I asked the question forgetting that she is the president of the senate
