Not familiar with many Jabbars from Beaumont…did he change his name or was this given to him at birth?

I asked earlier in the main thread. Was wondering if that was his jihadi name…after he “found allah.”

That’s what I would posit, but it looks like that name has been with him for quite some time

It appears his dad was also named Jabbar from what I read. Not sure if his dad was an immigrant or an American convert.

I was reading some comments on another app. Apparently someone that grew up with him, (not sure if I believe)said his mothers name was Herma Regina Everette and that there was an ancestry.com page for the POS.

I haven’t had time to really check it out though and it may be BS.

He's likely an Afro-Arab. There's more than 10 million of them in the Middle East.

you sure about that? Did you read the article you linked?

sounds like he converted.

Also The Nation of Islam is a religious organization committed to black nationalism and is not related to the Islamic religion.

I remember hearing a clever play on Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's surname once. It was slightly "politically incorrect." Sadly, I cannot for the life of me remember it, or I would post it here (with letters censored as necessary, of course).
